HASTRONAUTN Preston Barber r returns to the ground from his high flight in the Stars and Stripes Park rocket slide. 2. SNOW takes Lesli Wolfe and Susan Clayton back to childhood days while they shape the flakes to form a snowman. 3. HAMBURGER in hand, Big Boy smiles along with Robin Jones and Marsha McLeod. 4. AFTER starting an ice fight with her friends, Gay Jennings changes method of fire. She ends up on the receiving line, though by catching the arnrnunition in her mouth. . 'mf Well-rounaded curriculum allows Students to diversify knowledge Eight new classes were added to the curriculum. Classes concerning English, Home Eco- nomics, and on-the-job training were put on the list of 170 other classes offered. Foods II was a study of nutrition, various unit foods such as salads, vegetables, meats and meat-substitutes. Clothing II was the prin- cipals of garment construction, grooming and care of fabrics. Home Nursing and Child Care taught caring for a new- born and the development and growth of children. 4 Marriage and F amilyf Home Planning studied the history and forms of marriage and bud- geting a family income. Fashion Merchandising was a vocational educational program. Industrial Co-operative Education was designed to offer students both classroom and job training not given by DE or COE. 1. PREPARATIONS are made by Stephanie Herron to lay out a pattern for a dress. 2. INDUSTRIAL arts student Mark Hart uses a drill on a project during class. 3. DISPLAYED on the Library wall is the Putpam City symbol, woven in art c ass 4. ATTENTIVELY listening in her Fashion Merchandising class is Stacey Davis. is Curriculum I5
