This concept is best represented by the symbol of the Unisphere, unveiled at the New York World's Fair this year. Because it also signifies the policy and attitude of the Putnam City Schools, we have chosen it as the symbol of the 1965. TREASURE CHEST.

Foreword Change is the watchword of the future. Progress and development call inevitably for change. Without change the world would soon stagnate and become inert. Few things in this transitory life are changeless, and many that We think are such may dissolve into nothingness by tomorrow. We must recognize and accept change as a necessary product of life if we are to control and use it for our own betterment. Change in attitude is equally as important as physical change. The new emphasis on modern math, study in depth, and courses geared to the individual student are one measure of the attitude at Putnam City High School. The many new buildings and additions to exist- ing structures that are erected each year in this school system are evidence of the realized need for quality
