'SOI YOU'RE IN TROUBLE AGAlN.' That'e the phrase that meets your ears when you are sent to the office by one of the teachers, Ur. Terrill, of course, is the one that states the question. He is the principal of our high school and the former principal of the junior high. Other services he fulfills for our i ilu' or school are those of coaching our basket- ball boys, organizing the curriculum and supervising all discipline. He is the student's friend and adviser. ,.....-g 'YUU ALL uUlT YOU TALK'EN, PLEk5E.' 'Now be careful not to get your plus and minus marks in the wrong place', says Miss Somers, who is the mathe- matics instructor at Putnam City. Miss Somers, a new teacher to the students of Putnam has proven that she can fulfill her duties. It is certainly advisable to learn to count before you enroll in one of Mr. Burchardt's classes. In addition to the highschool band, he instructs the junior highschool band and the beginners band, theory and appre- ciation of music, boy's glee club, boy's quartet, junior high girl's glee club and girl's sextet, Baton Twirlers, Solo Club, and brass and woodwind small ensembles,

As Sponsor of the Putnam News Review he keeps the 'Jimmie Scoop's' using their noses for news. The cubs are always in a dither trying to make the deadline and put the paper to bed. Besides these duties he is also principal of the junior high, 'YOU MUST NOT LOOK AT YOUR KEYBOARDIU It is such a temptation to use the 'hunt and peck' system but Mrs. Fleming insists that all students learn the 'touch' system, When you enter her typing room it sounds like a million wood-peckers are at work because of the noise of the tapping keys. Mrs. Fleming also teaches bookkeeping which causes many students to burn the mid-night oil.
