Some of this year's activities were selling student directories and jewelry. This year they also ran the new student store, ushered at Open House, and sponsored the annual talent show. The Student Council officers for 1973-74 were: John Awezec, president, Chris Harris, vice-president, Marianne Mitchell, secretary, Lee Thompson, treasurer, and Lynne johnson, representative. The Student Council officers and representatives have done a great job with the helpful guidance of Mrs. Graham and Mr. Hoffines. This was their first year to sponsor the Student Council. OFFICERS The 1973-74 Honor Society sponsored several activities this past year which included selling T-shirts and having a Halloween party and spring picnic. The money obtained from selling T-shirts was used to pay for the initiation of new members. The 1973-74 Honor Society officers were: Grant Lovejoy, president, Lisa Nayfa, vice-president, Ricky Plant, secretary, Cindy Shirley, treasurer, and janet Rhodes, representative. The sponsors were Miss Boehs and Mrs. Goolsby. This was the second year they have served as sponsors. In order to become a member of the Honor Society one must retain a 3. 5 grade average throughout the year.
