Among these were the selling of pennants, pencils, bookcovers, pins, and student directories. They also sponsored a talent show and ushered at Centra1's Open House which they do annually. The officers of the Student Council and the home room representatives, with the guidance of Mis. O'Neal, have done their best to make a better student body. Nis. O'Neal is in her second year as Student Council sponsor. Throughout the year she has managed to bring the Student Council members together as a group. She has done a great job and deserves a great deal of credit for the success of the Student Council. The Honor Society started a scrap- book and sponsored such things as a Halloween party, sale of hats, initiation of new Sth grade members, and an end-of-the-year party. ln order to be a member of the Honor Society, a student must main- tain a 3. 5 grade average.
