fl C25 We have put together this yearbook, TI-IE WILDCAT especially for you to remember some of the great moments that happened during 1971-72. Looking back we remember: missing school because of the snow storms, having a terrific snowball fight on the football field, always being the embarrassed one who fell down on those slippery daysg the girls' football team beating Western Oaks 24-O5 always getting excited over every Hefner gameg the Varsity boys starting the Lettermen's Club, the faculty volleyball and basketball games, the girls going out for the track team. Of course we won't forget the traditional events of Central such as Spirit Royalty, All-Sports Queen Coronation, and Pin-Your-Man. The biggest event which occured was the fire. It was shocking and unreal to see the school we once were in, black and empty. But through careful planning on the administration's and teachers' part and an extreme exercise of patience on everyone's part, we adjusted comfortably to our new home across the street, the Baptist Church. Hardly before we realized it, the long awaited moment had arrived-- ou.r completed yearbook had returned from the press for distribution. Soon the freshmen were finally on their way to high school, and the 7th and 8th graders were one step closer. Much thanks go to our hard-working yearbook staff. 'lf We would especially like to thank Miss Wylie who served her first year as sponsor and saved the yearbook from the ravages of the fire by taking it with her over the holidays. We think she did a great job! 1 Drew Barber Lisa Williams DIVI SION EDITORS Faculty ..... . Jana Newkumet All Sorts .... . Donna Dinkiness Organizations . . . Teresa Young Royalty . . . .
