s many organizations on campus, the University Church works in conjunction with the Lafayette Community. Through fund raising projects such as the 'gHoWard Hanger joyful jazz Fantasyn the disin- herited and underprivileged in the Lafayette area are aided. Similarly, the students of St. Thomis gathered this spring to walk for the hungry in their 10th Annual Hunger Hike. The money raised was distributed among five international pro- jects, and three local pro- jects. Students not only ex- pressed their concern for the problems of the World, but they exhibited their beliefs through their actions. There are also those students who wish to become involved beyond their participation in their place of worship. Active interdenominational groups on campus include Campus Crusade for Christ, Young Life, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Although their ac- tivities differ, the organizations share the common goal of spreading the idea that fulfill- ment can be found through a knowledge of jesus Christ. The Campus Crusade for Christ is based the theory of win, build, and send. Through weekly meetings students find what jesus Christ offers in life, ZH!
