This body, which is composed of nine members, controls dispersion and co-ordination of the vast sums of money involved in the operation of the University. Of its nine mem- bers, two are prominent agriculturists, two, outstand- ing industrialists and two, designated as citizens of character and distinction. The other three are elect- ed by the Alumni Association. Approving expansion projects, accepting grants, and passing on campus policy are among the Board's many functions.
