The Leather Medal Award is given to the faculty member who makes the greatest contribution to the welfare, success, and reputation of Purdue University. Stu l-lolcolm, the well-deserving recipient of this year's Leather Medal Award. has served the University successfully as head football coach and competent representative of our school. Edward C. Thoma has served Purdue faith- fully in the Civil Engineering School. Our stu- dents showed their appreciation when they chose him the best of Purdues good teachers. 21
