“You want to see my room? But Dad. rememtar your heart! W.h the arrival of Dad’s Day, we welcomed the chance to show our fathers the high spots of Purdue’s campus. Hastily tacking up banners of Hi, Dad and Welcome Pop, we fell to the task of giving our rooms their annual cleaning. This done, we began the pleasant task of entertaining the guys who foot the bill. A Special Day for an Important Person We relaxed to discuss how school life had changed in lo, these many years. W devoted the weekend to showing Dad the ways we'd found to spend our energies and his money, hoping each would find favor in his eyes. The football game with Iowa and the smokers at the housing units provided the highlights, not to mention our new hold on life with the new allowance.
