During the war the staff' has worked on war contracts under the direction of the Office of' Scientific Development and Research. Now those people who devoted time to war research are hurrying to complete the army contracts so that they may return to peacetime projects. VVork will be continued along the lines of tele- vision, high voltage, electronics, and electric machine research. The Alternating Current Calculating Labor- atory has particularly felt the effects of and need for doing peacetime work.
