HGOF AND HORN INCE its establishment in 1911, the Hoof and Horn Club has grown to be one of the most im- portant organizations of the School of Agriculture. This club is made up of juniors, seniors, and faculty members who have shown an active interest in ani- mal husbandry at Purdue. The purpose of the organization is to better ac- quaint the members with practical animal husbandry and to stimulate and encourage interest in the cor- rect methods of fitting and showing of animals. In addition, the club sponsors the International Livestock judging Teams which are composed of stu- dents from the School of Agriculture who have been selected because of their ability and interest in the work. This activity is one of greatest value to the student as it enables him to get a broader scope of the field of animal husbandry through this practice in judging.
