The tunnels are about 60 feet below water line, are about 300 feet long, the walls are of reinforced concrete. The project described above was handled by the Subway Engineering Company, of Chicago, of which Ernest A. Clark, C. E. ,Q3, is president and Chief engineer, and Leon L. Clarke, E. E.
