As we look forward to the enjoyment of our new building next year, we pause for a moment to recall some happy memories held within our old school. Most of our recollec- tions are bound up with the people we have known. Many have passed through the halls and classrooms of Purcell Highschool since 1923, but we remember one in particular. Kaaren Guest was one of the friendliest and happiest girls we have ever known. Every one associated with her came to share her love of life . We remember that few Dragon teams ever took the field without Kaaren to cheer them on. She played basketball and followed the team with avid enthusiasm. Whenever we think of Kaaren we are reminded of the strong bond of affection which links her family togetherg a chain of affection not weak- ened but further strengthened by the continuing remembrance of her. With these humble words, this book is lovingly dedicated.
