Bob McAdams, Kevin Kemble, The year of 1970-71 found the Cavalier Band as active as ever, Combining their musical tai- ents with the dancing taients of the Captivating Cavalettes, who are trained by Mrs. Jane Stock and her daughter, Miss Nancy McClure, the Band and Cavalettes provided their audi- ences with fine entertainment. The outstanding achievement of any Purcell Band belongs to the band of 1970-71. This group was chosen to lead the Pageant Parade of the Rockies in Colorado Springs last August, It marked the first time in the 24 year history of the Pageant Parade that a non-military band had been given this honor. The appearances at our football games, concerts, local parades, and the annual Variety Show were all a great credit to the Band Department. BANID ACTION PUBCELI.
