Mr. Hencry The ltlirror Board extends special honor to lwr. Glenn M. Henery who is completing his first year as our prin- cipal. Mr. Henery's gracious and friendly manner has speedily won him the respect of the students and faculty. Completely helpful in every way, he keeps the school in fine working order. Among his many hobbies, he especially enjoys hunting, fishing, and gardening. He also enjoys a good game of basketball. lWr. Henery, a family man, is the proud father of two children. Born near Reynoldsville, he was graduated from Reynolds- ville High School in 1928. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Grove City College and his lwaster of Education degree from the University of Pittsburgh. hir. Henery has taught and held supervisory positions in Jefferson County schools for 22 years. Teaching first in VVinslow County, he was later elected to the position of principal at Sykesville High School in 1946. VVe, The ltlirror Board, wish lNTr. Henery continuous success in his future years at P. H. S. We also are proud to extend special honor to Mr. James Hall Prothero, who is a prominent local lawyer. Mr. Prothero has been most co-operative and helpful to this year's senior class. He devoted a large part of his time and effort to ihake our Variety Show a success. He serves capably on the board of the Margaret C. Boles Scholarship Foundation and was one of those responsible for its creation in 1950. His aid and en- couragement to local students has sent many of them on to college. lNIr. Prothero was born in Punxsutawney and graduated from Punxsutawney High School in 1920. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania and Bachelor of Laws from Temple University. He served for three years as pres- ident of the Jefferson County Bar Association. We, The Mirror Board, honor one of the most deserving persons we know with the hope that he will continue his work with future students of P. H. S. 7 Mr. Protliero
