Upon winning the hlarshall Fund and the Pennsylvania State Association of Classi- cal Teachers scholarships, she attended the 1952 summer session of the American Academy in Rome. She edits the P.S.A.C.T, quarterly bulletin. She is the very efficient sponsor of the Latin Club and Mirror Board. Her popularity is in- creased by her avid enthusiasm in sports. She also enjoys cooking, reading, travel- ing, and making conversation. She is the president of the PSI chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, which is the national honor society of women teachers. In ad- dition, she has been very active in the Naval Reserve since 1942, earning the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Through her unfailing initiative, the Variety Show was inaugurated in Punxsutawney five years agog during these five years the show was a complete success under her guiding hand. Among her other laurels, she served as president of the Punxsu- tawney Education Association for three years. The class of '56, with hats off, proudly dedicates this year's Mirror to Miss Nfiriam Cokely, one of the grandest persons we know. 9 4 4?-s Jaw' ,lf 'N E Ill mf. ss Il ll 'QL UI J '!!!.. ffl! ll :: Oo i 1111111111 -1 1 X ,1llllllIIlll1:11:. 1 i 1111111111: WZZ5u1111MgQ:Zg-,hu 1111 1, 11111111 ,in E:I1wh15:?:'::ZMi?E?1111 ng lf 'Ill 'E llflfllzg' guy: ' 5111 : 115ZlllllQ11111i1 1111 lllml 'I-Zia .-: '.
