Blen- eely and Miss Pringle, consists of representatives and one alternate from each sophomore, junior, and senior hoinerooni. These representatives submit the sugges- tions and criticisms which have been Inade by the home- roonns to the weekly meetings. Reading the minutes of the meetings, the representatives give the students a glance of the activities of their group. This past year many aeeornplislunents were credited to this organiza- tion. The lnajor part of the year was devoted to a long- needed revision of the eonstitution and preamble. The annual clean-up campaign was in full force again creat- ing awareness on the part of the students to help keep the school neat and elean. This year two members of the council represented our school at the state conven- tion. Varol Falger, a junior representative was elected as state secretary. Alf-h and Tom present the white Hag. TUDENT COUNCIL Receiving pins for their services, the representatives have something to show for their work on the Student Vouneil. As in the past years, the election of class oftieers was handled by the council. It is responsible for the smooth operation of the assembly which featured the students running for the different officers. A notable highlight this year was the visitation of several students from Sykesville who were hoping to organize a Student Council in their school. For this reason they wished a briefing on council procedure. Bundy The Thespian Society again this year has achieved its purpose of furthering dra- matical interest and providing experience for novices in the field of tll'2llIlittlC'S. This, of course, is brought about through the presentation of plays in school assem- blies. This fine organization is under the apt guidance of Mrs. Phoebe Taylor, a newcomer to P.H.S. this year. Holding the distinction of being the oldest club in school, the society was formed in 1999 by Miss Margaret Boles. Membership in this club is a honor bestowed only on hard-working students who participate fully in dramatic-al interests. Through mutual cooperation, the society and the Choir presented The Count and the Co-Edu a highly successful operet ta which clixnaxcd a hard-working and rewarding year for the Thespian Society.
