One of the main things it accomplished this year was to set up a better friendship between Kit- tanning and Punxsutawney High Schools. Students from Kittanning came and talked to the assembly and some students from Punxsutawney went to Kittanning and talked to their assembly. The Council did its usual fine job in helping to keep our school clean. It sponsored the contest be- tween the buildings in the Cleanliness Drive. Dne of its jobs was to enlist stu' dents to sell at the football games. Many of the students showed their support of the organization by volunteering to sell. In order to receive the students' ideas and opinions the Council installed in each sen- ior high home room a Suggestion Box which was collected before each meeting. The group also sponsored the school dances. STUDENT COUNCIL Standing: W. Zimmerman, L. Tronzo, M. Gray, M. Roseman, D. Levy, A. Charles, S. Fagley, I. Herrick, J. Moore. Seated: N. Falger, D.
