WE Ho OR Because of her enthusiastic interest in young people, we, the class of 1950, wish to dedicate our mirror to Miss Mariam Thompson. Throughout approximately thirty years of teaching in the schools of Punxsutawney, Miss Thompson has won for herself the students' admiration and affection by her vivacious spirit and vibrant personality. In her classes one can feel the warmth of her charming manner. Vifhenever and wherever Miss Thompson may be seen, she always has a ready smile and a pleasant greeting. As proof of her lively interest in youth, she attends all basketball games and is a staunch supporter of the team. She also sponsors the Freshman Trifl-li-Y, helping its members to live up to the high standards of that Christian organization and to solve any difficulties which may arise. Pue- cause of her enthusiasm she has become a favorite among the student body and faculty. This dedication is indeed an insuff ficient tribute in expressing the gratitude and appreciation we owe Miss Thompson. 7
