THE MIRRGR Mary Kathryn Fornari General Course Girls' Glee Club, 4. As merry as the day is long. This is absolutely true of llflary, for she is seldom, if ever, seen without a smile or a giggle. She is very friendly and has made many friends, although she has been in Punxs'y High only one year. Mary came to us from Rural Valley High School, where they miss her a lot, no doubt. In appearance, Contrary is very pretty, with very dark hair and large, sparkling, brown eyes. She is always very neatly dressed. llary doesn't know what she will do next year, but we are sure she'll succeed in whatever it is. Agnes Frew Commercial Course A. A., 2, 3, 4, Sg Red Cross, 2, 3, 4, 5, Commercial Club, 4. 5. Is she not passing ,fair- Frew can be found any time in Room 4 with her attention on some school book. One look at her assures us that she has haunted the dreams of many a luckless fellow. Blond, petite, full of the joy of life. Frew for the past two years, because of her interest, has been a valuable asset to the Commercial Club. Agnes impresses us as being rather quiet, retiring girl who is never- theless well-liked by those who know her. Don't let us disillusion you, however, for Frewl' can hold up her end of an argument when occasion demands nit. Frew claims that she is going to extend her vacation throughout next year, but we feel sure that she will brighten some-one's office. Luck, Agnes! Amelia Galeotti Commercial Course A. A., 1, 2, 3, 4, Commercial Club, 3, Red Cross, 2, 3. As merry as the day is long. Amelia is often seen talking with her friends, for talking is her chief weakness. Because Amelia is so friendly, she has many friends from P. H. S. Amelia's name can always be found on the honor roll. She is very interested in commercial work, and her ability in Shorthand and Typing is remarkable. lNIost of her spare time is spent in the typing room, where she strives to become even more efficient. Amelia will probably find some commercial work, since it seems to be her field. Good Luck, Amelia. Twenty-eight

THE MIRRGR Dorothy Fetterman Liberal Arts Course A. A., 1, 2, 3, 4, Jr. Red Cross, 1, 2, 3, 4g Glee Club, 1, 2, 3, 45 Baccalau- reate Chorus, 1, 2, 35 Sunbonnet Girlf' 25 Hulda of Holland, 3, Science Club, 4. Anal I thrill beneath the glances of a pair of azure eyes As glowing as the sum-uzer and as tender as the skies. Perhaps the lirst thing you'll notice about Dot is her eyes. They are not exactly gray, nor are they blue. They're Dot's eyes. Again, her hair may attract your attention first because there is no hair like Dot's. It is always perfect-never a hair out of place. If you don't know her, just watch for her in front of the building. Find where the most laughter is coming from, and you've got Dot, By her list of activities you can see how varied her interests are. She is noted especially for her singing. She has been a useful member of the Glee Club for four years. She enjoys sports and can usually be seen at the games, cheering for P.H. S. Dot tells us she is going to Buffalo to take up nursing. Happy Landings, Pal! l l Harry C. Fleming, Jr. Scientific Course Red Cross, 1,2,3,4g Hi-Y, 2, 3, 4, Football, 1, 2, 3, 4, Track, 3, 45 Secretary Sophomore Class, 2, President of Junior Class, 33 hiirror Board, 45 Master of Ceremonies of School Dances, 4, Varsity Club, 3, 45 Interclass hlushball, 2, 3, 43 Interclass Track, 3, 4, Interclass Baseball, 35 Secretary of A. A., 35 Decorating Committee, 2, 3. It is excellent to have a gz'arlt's strength. How well we know Bud for his cartoons! But this is not his only claim to fame. Bud is interested in almost every sport there is, not only interested but proiicient, too. Often have we seen him throw a monkey wrench into the opponents' plays from his position as varsity center. Bud is also a member of the Terrilic Three. Very seldom do we see them without Butch or Louief' Three mighty men are they! Powerhouse has been the object of the affections of many, but it wasn't until the cap of one Katy appeared at a certain angle tnlil .ne fell. Now he is seldom seen without her. Harry would like to be an engineer when he 4'Gets Big. He may attend either Georgia Tech or Alabama, he is not yet sure which. How- ever, we know that Bud will be a success wherever it is. Caroline G. Fonner General Course Vice President of Freslnnan Class, 1 3 High School Gperetta, 15 Jr. Red Cross, 1, 3, 43 Glee Club, 1, 4, A. A., 3, 43 French Club, 4. Whatever is 'worth doing at all, is worth doing well. Caroline is the small, vivacious girl whom you so often see tripping about in the halls. She is rather quiet at times, but always enlivens any party by her wit. Caroline is very dependable and it always willing to do more than her share. Carol came to use two years ago from lvlarion Center High School. From her list of activities we can see that she was as active a member of that High School as she has proved to be at P. H. S. Caroline is planning to go to college next year, since her desire is to become a teacher. VVle know that her sweet disposition and depend- ability will carry her far in her chosen field. Good luck, Carol ! T'lUL'll-lj'-SC'ZJCll

TI-IE MIRROR Guy Gattuso General Course Red Cross, 2, 3, A. A., 3, 4. No one will be more profoundly sad than he who laughs too much. Guy is that serious boy you see as you .walk around the halls. Guy is rather quiet, but after you get to know him, you find him a real friend. Although he is quiet, he can laugh at the right time. . Guy is admired by the fairer sex. Every day he comes from Adrian with one of them. What it is that attracts the girls, we are not sure, but we are sure that his dark hair and striking brown eyes help. Guy is an ardent lover of music. I-Ie is not sure what he wants to do but with his winning smile, we feel sure he will be successful. john Gernat Comlmercial Course Red Cross, 2, 3, 45 A. A., 3, 4, Wrestling, 1, 43 Football, 2, 3, 4, Inter- class Softball, 2, 3g Interclass Baseball, 3, Varsity Club, 3, 4. True worth is in being not seeming. Johnny is a rather quiet individual, who conducts his academic operations from Room S. And these operations include a very successful commercial schedule. Despite his rather small size, John is a real football and wrestling star. He didn't make the headlines, but he kept many an opponent out OI the paper's win column. His athletic colleagues speak highly of John's work in his chosen sports and will add no less emphatically that he is a lighter to the end. His commercial work in P. H. S. will probably lead him to that field in the future. We are pulling for you, johnny, Best of Luck! Edwin Gibson General Course A. A., 2, 43 Red Cross, 4. IlfIi1'th with thee I mean to live. If you chance to hear laughter coming from Room 5 before school in the morning or at noon, you can feel assured that f'Eddie is jesting with someone. Eddie,' delights in having heaps of fun with his friends. His joviality has paved a way for the friendship which exists between him and his classmates. In spite of his light-heartedness and without-a-care-in-the-world manner he is a boy of various moods, for he can be just as quiet as he is noisy at times when serious moods are necessary. Those times are few and far between. , We do not know whether Eddie, has any definite plans for the future, but herels wishing him luck in anything he undertakes. Twenty-nine
