The rule of my life is to make business a pleasure, and pleasure my business. IXIerle is the type of person who always seems to be in a hurry. He walks with the air of a business man. But do not forget, he is in a way a business man. He helps his father with the Work at the garage. Pezel likes very much to drive an automobile, and out of school hours, we usually ind him behind the wheel of one of the garage cars. Pezil is a jolly and good natured person. He believes in having lots of fun. Merle usually manages to get a front seat, where he will have the best opportunity to give his opinion. Pezil, as yet, is undecided what he will do in the future. Aw, don't try to tell me that -that's just one of the Amundson twins contradicting some- one. Gerald enjoys himself most when he is engaged in a heated argument. He is very per- sistent in his arguments and has a witty reply to every point that is brought up. Gerald gets a great amount of joy out of life. He agrees one hundred per cent. with the quota- tion, Care is a menace to life. Gerald is planning to attend Indiana State Teachers College next year. We all wish you lots of luck and success. Jerry is one of our truly light-hearted Sen- iors, She is nearly always laughing or telling an hilariously funny joke. In fact, Geraldine usually keeps up the good spirits of all those around her by her merry disposition. She is one of those for- tunate young persons Who is blessed with really blond hair. Jerry enjoys reading a good book but is a.t her best when she is on the dance floor. Geraldine says she expects to continue with the orchestra of which she is a 1llC111lJCI'. In fact, we would not be surprised if, someday, she became a well-known singer. At any rate, we wish the best of luck to one member of the only set of twins from the class of 138.

That's Margie, Then, if you hear a funny sort of hysterical laugh coming from one corner of the room, you may know that B-Iargie has done or said something funny. Margie finds joy in whatever she does, and is very easy to become acquainted. Once 'lhlargiel' becomes your friends she is a very sincere one. Although Mai'gie is very fond of chattering and having a good time, she also has a serious side. VVe iind her serious side is usually hidden by her love of having a good time. Margie is very fond of hiking and dancing. Although she has not decided as to what hospital she will go, her intentions are to study nursing for the next three years. Good i luck, lNIargie. So well she acted all and every part. just one glance at the above list of activities tells one plainly that ,lane is efficient both as an actress and as a directress of plays. lVc are sure that the Thespian Society will sadly miss Jane next year, for she is the type of person who will lit well into many different roles. In addition to her play-acting, Jane is a very good conversation- alist. She also is an enthusiastic tennis fan. In fact, Jane is enthus- iastic over many things. She is a welcome addition to any club or group beca.use of her pep and original ideas. Jane expects to enter college next year, but has not deiinitely decided where. One gla.nce at Pinky,' and one knows whereby he has received this title. George has one great weakness, and that is his ability to blush on the slightest occasion. Don't worry, Pinky, it is becoming a lost art. One glance at George's activities will reveal his interests-sports of all kinds. George has been one of our outstanding basketball stars for the last three years. George believes in a well rounded life for clubs have an interest for him. The play's the thing. If you hear someone say lVIiss Boles wants to see you, or Don't forget rehearsal at 3.45, you can safely guess that Byrt is around. From her list of activities you can see that she has taken an active inter- est in extracurricular activities. She has been very prominent in dram- atics, for she possesses unusual ability as an actress, writer, and director of plays. She wrote and directed Bugs last year and took part this year in the high school play. Next year she plans to enter the training school at the Roosevelt Hospital. We wish her all the luck in the world. Blair Lloyd Armstrong General Course A. A., 3, 4, Ir. Red Cross, 3, 4, Science Club, 4. Silence sweeter is than words. Blair does not make himself conspicuous by talking a great deal in classes. In fact, his chief aversion is any kind of oral report. But put him with acquaintances, and you find, under his silence, a very agreeable felow with a liking for the out-of-doors. Instead of seeking for knowledge out of books, in his idle m-oments, he learns first-hand in- formation from nature, in hunting, fishing, and swimming. His liking for softball also shows that Blair likes the association of other fellows. Blair, with his Customary way of going into things leisurely, will not enter business college until he has worked a year. llffay he find sat- isfaction on whatever road he chooses to follow! ' Ray Louis Armstrong General Course A. A., 3, 45 Red Cross, 1, 2, 3, 4g Science Club, 4, Interclass Basketball, 4. Our thoughts and conduct are our own. In Ray, we have the tall, silent man. When we see his height, and deep-set eyes, We get an impression of latent power. His slowness of reply bears out this impression of deliberation before expression. Al- though he does not speak often in his classes, he knows the correct an- swers. Ray's long strides as he walks picturesquely tell of his liking for hiking over the hills, hunting, or iinding a likely-looking fishing stream. Baseball and softball are his two favorite games. In the future, about which he is undecided, Ray believes he would like to attend some aviation school. Good luck, Ray! Eleven
