Most of her time is spent poring over some book and although she seldom volunteers to recite. she is usually prepared. Lucille possesses the ability to speak well as has been shown by her topics and debating. Another characteristic by which Lucille is known is that of being quiet. VVhile others are talking and laughing loudly, she merely listens or quietly adds a word now and then. lYe do not know whether Lucille intends to enter college this fall or not, but the thoughts of the '37 class will follow her wherever she may go. Ready, tuilling, and able. ,www Stanley Halo is the big, well-built boy who sits in Room T during activities period. Baseball is one of Stanley's big interests. He is very hard to get acquainted with. Stanley is quite contented with his present friends and does not like to make new ones. His ability to type and take dictation at a high rate of speed is something to be quite proud of. Stanley never worries about the girls because they do not interest him. Stanley expects to be working in an office next year. Good luck, Stanley! If you do, you know that Norma lit-llc is somewhere near, for she possesses one of the most pleasing personalities in our class. Normie never seems to be in a had humor but is always smiling and jolly. Norma Belle's large black eyes, which are the envy of every girl in school, truly twinkle like stars when she laughs or smiles. Norma Belle not only manages to keep her- self in the best of spirits but many times raises the level of our own with her jolly words and jokes. Normie expects to either go to some art school or to DuBois Business Vollegc. lYherever Norma Belle may go next year, her success is assured because of her ability as a student and because of her per- sonalitv. 'Z-al goofl ,fellow and good looking, loo. In school, at least, usually in a hurry, about six feet tall, and quite good looking, too, is Dick Hampson. Dick has been active in the Thes- pian Society and its programs. This year he very successfully played the part of the leading man in The lmportance of Being Earnest. Dick has also been the business manager of the lllirmr and we must say that there, too, he has done a good job. Dick gets along wonderfully with the opposite sex and can often be seen with one or more near him. Dick intends to go to the United States Naval Academy next year. She enjoys being with the gang, who say she's a merry companion because of her grand sense of humor. Ginny is also keen about dancing. VVhen the dance music begins, this small, slender, brown-eyed young lady is much in demand. Ann is well known in both the sports and musical realms for miles around. Ifor three years she has led cheers for our athletic teams and Las been deeply interested in both the players and in the sports in which they participated. As for her musical talent, the least we can say is that she has a very pleasing voice which she uses with rare ability. She greatly enjoys whistling and singing and her soprano voice has added much to the chorus class. Mildred wishes to go in training in the near future to become a nurse.
