Biology holds a great interest for Edd, especially that part of Biology dealing with plants and bugs. Besides his interest in Biology, Ed tinds great enjoyment in reading. He spends at least two nights a week at the public library. Ed is quite a cheerful person and usually has a smile for his friends. lid is one of those fellows who do not take everything for granted. If he has a question, he asks it, or, if he be- lieves something else to be true, he tells you and argues his point until shown proof that he is wrong. lid's future is undecided but he tells us that he would like to study forestry. l Grant Dobson Liberal .Xrts and Scientific Courses slr. Red Cross, 3, -lg Science Club, 45 A. A., 4. Let thy words be few. This quotation fits f'Dobson'i so well that any other would almost certainly be out of place. Grant, evidently, believes that he should be seen and not heard, because he very seldom speaks unless called on, and only occasionally recites in class. This, however, is not due to his inability to answer, as his exam grades most definitely show. Dobson has a quiet humor which is indeed admirable because he rarely laughs aloud but just broadly smiles. We are indeed thankful that there is someone to balance our boisterousness and noise. Next year Grant intends to work on his fathe1 s farm, but something tells us he will be attending some college in the near future. XYhat- ever your aims. Grant, we wish you the best of luck. If you do not, you certainly should try to make his acquaintance, for, although he seems quiet enough in school, I nuts is the jolliest and best of company when out to have a good time. Like most of tho other Anita boys P'nuts is very enthusiastic about baseball, but it is a safe guess to say that he is interested in all sports. l nuts could easily hll the role of utall, dark and handsome ex- cept that he is not very tall. You can always find Bernie'i neatly dressed with his hair carefully slicked back. Bernard plans to be a mechanic. Johnny is the rather sandy-haired boy from Room K. ln men- tioning his hair, we must add that johnny has a most beautiful wave which the girls all envy. In school jake belongs to the ranks of the young gentlemen who seem quiet and orderly, but even his mere acquaintances vigorously de- clare that he is the very nicest and the most entertaining of boys. Jake is another who professes a love for sports, hut more especi- ally baseball. jolmny's ambition is to become a photographer. He plans to go to lluiialo as soon as school ends to get a job, but he does not say whether or not it will be connected with photography. In whatever he does, we wish him luck. She is oh! so reserved in school. No teacher ever scolded Leone for talking. Blayhe she is just too polite to talk where talking is not wanted. XYhen you really know Leone, you'll find she has a tine sense of humor. You'll often hear her tinkling laugh ring out when she's with Jane. Leone is a book-worm. Art holds her attention, too, for she has an artistic strain and designs clothes and houses. XYalking also happens to be one of her favorite pastimes. Riser has a likable personality and is a very interesting companion. She is so serene and patient. Downie tor whoever it may bel wants to see you, you automati- cally think of Norma, for she is continually rushing hither and thither to type something for somebody. Norma's one failing is her inability to get to school more than a few seconds before the late bell sounds. She acts as a warning to some of us, for. when we see Norma coming, we thoroughly realize that it is time for us to start running. Roller skating is a pastime which Norma likes very much, hut she spends most of her spare time reading or at the movies.
