T' ll' R M l R R O R Lex Curry 1-cur-1-yr General Course llasketball Manager, 2, lnterclass Touch Football, 2, Interclass Track, 33 Interclass basketball, 3, A. A., 3, -4, Jr. Red Cross, 3, 45 l'Bunty Pulls the Strings, 34 Overdue, 33 Roys' Glee Club, 3, 4, Press Club, 3, 4, Commercial Club, 4. A 1111111 of f1ffc11'1fs, .Xnd certainly Lex is L1 man of affairs. Ry his list of activities, we know that he has taken an interest in sports during his high school career. lily his list of activities in interclass football and basketball we would itnagine him to be a large, husky athlete. Ilut he isn't. In fact he is one of the smallest male members of the Senior class. Not only has he taken part in P. H. S. athletics, but also in plays and the Boys' Glee Club. XYe are sure that anyone who has taken such an active part in school activities will succeed in the future. ' Chester Davis General Course jr, illetl Cross, l, 2, 3. -lg Glee Club, 3, French Club, -l. 1,1fe is ton .s'I1111'1t for worry 01' f'fll'l'.U Chester probably holds the distinction of being the very lirst person lo come to school in the morning. Wlhen the janitor comes to school in the early dawn, behold--there is Chester waiting for him. VVhen examination time draws near, it is the signal lor Chester's brain to begin functioning more lwiskly, because he is more interested in the recreative side of life. llis carefree countenance is usually lit up with a grin and he is ex- tremely well liked among his lellow classmates. t'l1et's outside activities include a various assortment of subjects, all ol' which seem to center around Cloe, for he is another distinguished gentleman from that place. His hobby is sitting beside some stream with the various accessories necessary for the capture of the tinny lishes. Xlany happy antglings. Vliesterl 1 Joyce Davis General Course Health Club, -13 Commercial Club, 43 jr. Red Cross, 4. He 111e1'1'y and gay. joyce dropped in on us from out Vlfest and we are sincerely glad she did. In the short time she has been in P. H. S. she has become an active factor in its makeup. She is ready and eager 'to make friends. Nloreover, there is not a bit of conceit in her whole being, not even in her 'tiniest corpuscle. Joyce is rather eccentric in the fact that she always wears earrings. 'l'liese small bits of jewelry seem to be almost a part of her. ,loyce can't decide whether to attend Perm State or Oregon Col- lege next year. The class ol' '36 is sure that she will be an asset to which ever -College she chooses. f 111',tv ivftlll

You scarcely -1-ver see Ken with a worried look on his face, for the simple reason that he hardly ever tinds anything to worry about. In his very few serious spells, tlfree out of four times, if questioned, he will admit that it was English IV that worried him. Hut Kenneth is not one to take his studies too seriously, although, as a rule, he is interested in his work. XVith his coat tails Hying, Kenneth has dashed around as business manager of the .M1'rror. Kenneth knows all the latest gossip, all the best jokes, and what's more, he likes to spread joy and laughter by telling them with his own little bit of sparkling wit. Kenneth says that he is going to Pittsburgh after his graduation. i The very best wishes of class of '36 Kathleen Kitty Liberal Arts Course Jr. Red Cross, l, 2, 3, 4, .-X. .-X., 3, 4, Science Club, 4 T1-i-Ha-Y, 4. Who is the maid with golden hair. Did you ask who that golden-haired girl was with a smile on her face? Oh, that's Kitty, a talkative member of our class. Sometimes you will ind a frown on her face, but give her a sweet, kind word and she will smile for you. Kitty is bound to be pessimistic at times. and at such times if looks could kill--l But have your little joke and soon the sunshine will burst forth again. Did you ever walk into Room ing? No? XYe know the lunch without Kitty's incessant chatter. Kitty would like to attend llethany Cfollege next year. XYe . hoping your wish is granted, Kitty follow you, Ken. jane Crites Janie Crites Liberal .Xrts Vourse Jr. Red Cross, 2, 3, 4, Treasurer, French t'lub, 3, .-X. She is the very sweet looking girl who is so friendly to everyone. Janie came to us from Baltimore in her Sophomore year. She has established a place for herself by her successful extra-curricula activ- ities and by her suave manner. i Jane is very frank and earnest. She does not hesitate to 'tell you anything, which' is the reason, perhaps. for her popularity. ,lane is well read, and has a good background. ,lanes hobby is reading. YVC find that she is acquainted with authors both ancient and modern. Jane is almost always at her lessons, for she never shirks an assign- ment. She is going to school next year to further her education. Best wishes for success, Jane.
