Vl'ihna's simplicity makes her one of the most attractive members of our class. Her quiet friendliness is always refreshing, probibly be- cause it is so different. The fact that she does not paint half an inch thick doubtless enhances her appearance. 'Nw Vllilma has other good points. She can bake a delicious cake, sew a fine seam, and answer most questions in her classes exceedingly well. VVilma's ambition is to be a teacher of Home liconomics. The Ienzple of our f7Il7'I'Sl Zlzouglzfs is silerzcef' Q Dicl you hear a low sweet voice coming from the corner of Room K? -nv-Qtr That voice belongs to Alma. We know, too, that she puts it to good use, for she is a line singer. NVith her gentle manners and her calm exterior Alma remincls us of a smooth untroublecl sea. .Xlthough Alma does not often volunteer to recite in class, she usually makes a good recitation when she is callecl upon. When we look at Alma, we usually see her with her eyes fast on her book or with a far-away expression on her face. Perhaps she is thinking of the near future when she will be hurrying about some hos- pital comforting this or that patient. Next year Alma wishes to be trainefl as a nurse in a Buffalo hospital. Although Ginny speaks little, she is not sober by any means and there is an air of pleas- ant frivolity in her manner. However, 'tMickey is very industrious. Ginny's lessons often worry her. Hut the frown with which she pours over them is quickly replacecl by a smile when she sees somebocly she knows. In spite of the work which her position entails, she still finds time to be on the honor roll, besides participating in several other activities. None of us know him very well because he is so quiet, but we notice he has the good grace to blush when one of the feminine gender speaks to him. Gabriel doesn't seem to worry much about his school work. He is more interested in sports, especialfy baseball. He hasn't told us what he intends to do next year, but we predict that he will be a second llabe Ruth or Dizzy Dean.
