She is an actress, a songstress, and a violinist. Her deep voice has sweetened many a musical produc- tion, her dark head graced many a play, and from her skilled fingers has issued forth many a note in orchestral reviews. Although Ida is so busy, she goes about her business quietly. She has not developed a eonceited air, nor does she make herself appear more important than she actually is.

Glenn has characteristics that make us feel very intimate with him. One is the deep coloring, called a blush, that creeps over hs features at certain times. The other is the twinkle in his eyes. These characteristics always single Glenn out from a crowd. But don't think we're criticizing your appearance, Glenn, because were not. Everyone, especially girls, likes blushes and twinkles. Although we know Glenn is studious, he sometimes surprises us by giving his philosophical idea on some difficult subject. g llost of the chemistry students know that Glenn is pretty clever t at handling chemicals and acids in the laboratory. Although Glenn does t not have any idea concerning what he will be doing a year from now, we hope he will apply his ability in chemistry and be a second Lavoisier. Sam Catanese Sam Fat General Course Quiet, .Ylillllil-0113, and f1'ieml.'y. These three words characterize c'Sa1nH and it goes without saying that they are always associated with him. Sam does not speak very ofteng but, when he does, he leaves no doubt in the minds of his listeners as to his very thorough knowledge of that particular subject. This explains the fact that he has taken part in no frivolous activities. Sam has spent all his time in mas- tering some subject and in preparing his class recitations. Nevertheless, Sain has some interests outside of school. for Sam is always with the gang where his chummy friendliness and his spon- taneous good cheer have made him a valuable member. However, she makes up for her small size by her voice. As is to be seen from her list of activities, she is quite musical. Perhaps Gerry will take up a musical career after she graduates. Yivacious is our adjective to describe Dean, She literally tlies around and is always ready to break into laughter at the slightest provocation. lf something funny happens, her tinkly laughter breaks out immediately. VVe'll certainly miss her gaiety after Commencement. 'l'1.'f11!y
