Frank is quite a shark in Cfommercial subjects, so we feel his success is assured. Frank is a his thoughts to the air. Frank Cross, '27, '25, '29, '30, A. Mary Louise Blaser t'Mary Loul' English Course Junior Red Cross, 'SOQ A. A., '30. Her tuary locks lzfzrzg on her temples like a golrlvn fleece, What a surprise it was for us when we beheld Mary Lou-a tall, beautiful hlonde-a Senior-after an absence of three years. We could rot quite connect this vision of loveliness with the little Freshman we had formerly known. Mary Lou believes that life is a play-ground, where people must be amused, and she is certainly capable of entertaining one. Her favorite sport is football, and her choice of football captains naturally lies in out own. Mary Louise has her eye toward DuBois Business Follege for the eontinttance of her education. We are certain that these characteristics will bring her success in her work at Indiana State Teachers College and our only regret is tha! we can not be one of her dear little first grade pupils. Mark is conservative and reserved. He is not inclined toward oratory like his namesake of Julius Caesar's time. It is difficult to penetrate lNIark's impassive and silent exterior, Underneath there lies a feeling of friendship which is shared with a select few, hlost of his time is spent in his schoolwork, while little of it is devoted to school activities. A., '27, '28, '29, '30, Commercial Club, 150. Never less alone than when alone. Stately and conservative is Wfayne. He is aloof, preferring his own company to that of others, You should not conclude from this, how- ever, that lie is high hat. In classroom he is sure of himself and his knowledge commands attention. His actions cause one to form the opinion that he is quiet and serious. Although his aloofness from his classmates may cause some to misjuclge, he probably thinks that solitude and peace go hand in hand. Wayne expects to attend a business college at Youngstown, Ohio, next year. One of the chief of these is her magnificent German Police dog, Rover, who is her faithful companion in her many walks through the fields. Esther is an ardent nature lover, and likes nothing better than a long walk through some shady wood- land path. Esther is also a great reader. Nothing readable, be it :1 newspaper or a book on mental telepathy, ever escapes ber eye. Es' is no hour-glass reader either for she retains what she reads. Esther expects to go in training in Indiana next fall. VVe all wish her luck. Iohn is one of those very merry kind--always telling jokes and then doubling up with laughter. When deep in the task of composing al letter or poem, he is continually asking someone how to spell words. VVhen he does produce something particularly brilliant, he is to be seen i1i some secluded place explaining to another enlightened mortal just how he got the inspiration tor the masterpiece. Iohn's dramatic ability has been seen in several productions, and we are sure that he could not make a very great mistake should he make acting his profession. John will probably join the ranks of Hospital Barbers, although he himself has given no confirmation of this.
