It is difficult to penetrate lNIark's impassive and silent exterior, Underneath there lies a feeling of friendship which is shared with a select few, hlost of his time is spent in his schoolwork, while little of it is devoted to school activities. Her tuary locks lzfzrzg on her temples like a golrlvn fleece, What a surprise it was for us when we beheld Mary Lou-a tall, beautiful hlonde-a Senior-after an absence of three years. We could rot quite connect this vision of loveliness with the little Freshman we had formerly known. Mary Lou believes that life is a play-ground, where people must be amused, and she is certainly capable of entertaining one. Her favorite sport is football, and her choice of football captains naturally lies in out own. Mary Louise has her eye toward DuBois Business Follege for the eontinttance of her education. We are certain that these characteristics will bring her success in her work at Indiana State Teachers College and our only regret is tha! we can not be one of her dear little first grade pupils.
