T H E M I R R O R FORREST ELDER Donkey English Course If his heart at high flood Siuainperl his brain now and then, 'Tiuas but richer for that When the tide ebbed again. Donkey is a good-natured fellow. It is not often that he gets an- gry, no matter what the provocation. This fact proves that Forrest has good sense. Forrest is a nature lover. Don't we remember how he used to bring rare flowers to school for us when we weren't able to get our twenty-tive Howers for Biology? Forrest could always Rfld perfect specimens, when, although we tried earnestly to get them, we just couldn't get them. Forrest is a person who, in these days, is called a good sport. No matter what happens, he refuses to be down-hearted and gloomy about his troubles. Donkey is really and truly honest, and, as Honesty is the best policy, he never needs to regret being true and honorable. ' Forrest is not certain what career he will pursue after graduation, but wherever he goes, he cannot help winning many friends. To the class that has the honor to claim Verna, she has come to mean smiles, class-spirit, loyalty, and a girl that we can't do without. How could we ever have planned parties, picnics, feeds, etc., without Bodie ? Verna has a sense of humor, and a sense of fairness. If you don't play fair, she will take her dolly and go right straight home. Be that as it may. Bodie is going to take her cap and apron, and go right straighti' into some college, where she will take up Domestic Science. Oh, for a taste of her cookery! JAMES A DAVIDSON Jim Scientific Course Graduate of three-year course in Blahaffey High School High School Play, '19 Mahaffey High School Play, '18 Vice President at Biahaffey, '16 Diana, passing, found his youth so fair, His soul so fleet and willing to obey. VVhat cared Jim that he had to go to school another year when he knew that that year was to be spent with the class of '19 in P. H. S.? After he had graduated from a three year course in lNIahaffey High School, he joined us. It took us only a short time to discover that this shy young man was, heart and soul, a real member of our class. James should be noted for his cleverness, shyness, and adaptability. His next step towards furthering his education will be taken when he goes to State next year, where his adaptability and power to make friends will again be made manifest. CYNTHIA DRUMMOND Symphony Classical and Scientific Courses Associate Editor of Mirror, '19 Glee Club, '19 Give me cz nook mul a book and let the prom! iuorlel spin roznzrlf' Here is the Poet Laureate of the class of '19, If, some day, Cynthia should give a happy little bounce, look quickly at you with sparkling eyes, and say, Lend me a pencil, don't refuse her, for she has had an inspiration for a wonderful poem. Don't think Cynthia is able to do nothing but write poetry and get inspirations. She is graduating in two courses and certainly is an industrious worker. She believes in that little god, Luck, and certainly has been favored by him. To know Cynthia is to have a real friend, for she knows that to have friends you must be one. Sometimes Cynthia gets discouraged with things in general, but we cheer her up, because we know she will do as much for us any day. Cynthia expects to go to Lebanon Valley College next year, where we predict success and many friends for her. -734 ' X1

Eva is an accomplished pianist. She does not tolerate rag-time, but you should hear her rendition of classical music. It is there that she excels. Eva is not sure what she will do after graduation, but she wants to go into business with her father. If her father wants to increase his profits, we advise him to avail himself of his ambitious daughter's aid.
