URBAN G. WILLIS RESPONSIBILITY AND OBLIGATION As you leave high school, it is an appropriate time to remind you that for almost all your lives you have been on the receiving end. Things have come your way. Benefits have been freely bestowed upon you. from now on, each of you must row your own boat, and later carry passengers in it. That is another way of say- ing that you are grown up and have to talce responsibility, and fulfill your obliga- tions to your family and to your country. We have been trying to prepare you, both physically and mentally, for these adult responsibilities. Those who have been earnest, studious, diligent and well-behaved have profited by our efforts.
