Princess: Tracy Long Ron Hadwiger Soph. Princess: Debi Meyer Bill Gaskins The Hounds splashed their way through the pouring rain and came out dry with the first homecoming victory at P.H.S. in years. The Ban- tams emerged with not only wet feathers but a dampened pride as well in their 0-19 loss. This year the Greyhounds had a real reason to cele- brate at the homecoming dance the following night, This year Spirit Week only consisted of four days because of administrative measures. The Seniors compensated for this by dressing up all five days. Tuesday - nerd day, Wednesday - tourist day, Thursday - 60's flower-child day and Friday - blue and grey day. Flower-child day posed many problems with the administration censoring our love signs. The senior class emphasized blue and grey day by decorating the school in balloons, streamers, and party hats. There were 17 returning letterman, the majority of which were seniors who had gained valuable experience as ju- niors playing on the young 1983 squad. The season started out slow with a big loss to Lewiston. But the Hounds proceeded to reel off 9 straight victories, including the first playoff game against Othello. The Greyhounds entered the 1984 State football playoffs as the undefeated frontier league champions. It was the first league football title for Pullman since 1979. The Hounds exited the playoffs in the quarter finals with an extremely bitter loss to West Valley, Whom they had beaten earlier in the season. With great support from the pullman fans the Hounds finished the season 952. Though the season was a good one, our dreams of the King Dome went down the dung hole. rt 3 '2's T 'sf WM at M is t K xx S .Q o Regular Season Record Pullman 5 Lewiston Pullman 14 MOSCOW Pullman 28 0 Weg Valley Pullman 30 East Valley Pullman 35 Degr Park Pullman 19 Clarkston Pullman 3 1 Selah Pullman Chgney Pullman 27 Colville Playoff Record Pullman 44 Othello Pullman 7 West Valley j.
