‘(Elj t Reiielattott As the days of a high school career become numbered, a student becomes proud of those thmgs for which he has stood. Therefore, as a door behind closes on the old and a door ahead opens on the new, we pause to declare a faith and pride in those ideals which have helped guide us to this time of fulfillment. It is then, with a feeling of accomplishment and satis- faction, that we, the ORIOLE Staff, present to you the Seal of Pulaski High School through our yearbook theme for 1965 — THE REVELATION. As the words sportsmanship, friendship, citizenship, leadership, and most importantly scholarship are implied in the symbol- ism of the shield, we see these actual qualities incul- cated in the life of the student body. Truly our days within these classrooms and halls are numbered. May we have the wisdom to accept these symbols as life goals. May we ever play the game of life honestly. Socially may we never become too busy to cultivate a worthwhile friendship. Spiritually, may we have the courage to lead, rather than follow the crowd. Physically , may we commend our school sports and support them without reserve. Academically, may we progress under the guidance of our fine teachers. Mentally, may we never lose the desire to study and learn. As we look at the events of the past year, as set forth in our book, we will find the Seal revealed to us in many forms. It is our hope, that in years to come, these pages will serve as reminders — not only of happy ex- periences, but also of ideals yet to be achieved. — Frank Trotter
