The Senior Class of 1965 will soon be only a memory in the hearts of each remaining student and faculty member at Pulaski High School. Our memories are precious to each of us as we recall the years that have passed so swiftly. We were the largest eighth grade class to enter Pulaski High School. Through the years we have lost many of our members; how- ever, we still remain a large class. As eighth graders, we were bewildered when we first entered the doors of Pulaski High School to our new way of life. We had to adapt to many changes and situations. Proud were we, when we became the Freshman class of Pulaski High School. Gradually, we became accustomed to our high school career. As Sophomores, we began to know more people and to participate in more activities; as Sophomores, we felt a bigger part of our school. During our Sophomore year, we managed to adopt a class slogan, which will remain in the hearts of each of us as we launch out to seek our separ- ate fortunes in life: WE’RE HEP WE’RE ALIVE WE’RE THE CLASS OF ’65!! When we became Juniors, we received our long awaited class rings. Diligently we worked selling stationery in order to give the Senior Class of 1964 one of the loveliest proms in the history of Pulaski High School. The anxiety we felt as we marched into our first assembly can not be described in words. We felt a great disappointment when we were told we were unable to have a Senior trip; as a substitute for our trip, we were given a “Class Day.” We were proud of Valerie Atkinson when she captured the title of “Queen” during the Miss P.H.S. Contest. The Senior Class and a Senior homeroom were first in the school’s Can Drive to aid the needy. During our homecoming parade, we received sec- ond place for our float. Now, soon — too soon — our final year draws to a close. Graduation awaits the Class of ’65. We wish to thank the entire faculty of Pulaski High School, for their patience and guidance. Especially we wish to thank our Senior sponsors: Mrs. Margaret Bushong, Miss Suzanne David, Mrs. Edna Loftus, Miss Mayme McCoy, Mrs. Joyce Robinson, Mrs. A. L. Mode, Mr. Wil- liam Puckett, Miss Dean Repass, and Mrs. Bessie Totten. We leave Pulaski High School with fond memories. Her walls have echoed with our joys and our sorrows for five years. Our quest for maturi- ty and knowledge has begun to be fulfilled, and now, we, as Seniors, are ready to seek our treasures. 27
