We, the Seniors of 1958, the first class to graduate under the five-year plan, leave our Alma-Mater a year older than the past graduates of P.H.S. and, we hope, a year wiser. Some of us have reached a cherished goal; others, another step in achieving and ful- filling our ultimate ambition. We have completed the foundation of our education; and as we go forward to explore our unknown futures, we will be able to face human problems sensibly and courageously, always mindful of the education that we have had and of the opportunity of having that education. From our first and finally to our twelfth year, we have experienced trial, error, and triumph, happy and sorrowful moments, studying, playing, learning which all combine to give us the most triumphant moment of our lives — our graduation. But sha ll we close the door to learning now? Surely not, for we must always look up, never back. We wonder where our happy years have gone — may there be many more always holding a lesson, and a work and a dream. We leave to you, Pulaski High, our loyalty, our love, and our pride that you are ours. May you always be a shining symbol of all that is fine to the future youths who climb The Hill to success. Our deepest gratitude is expressed to the wonderful leadership and teaching of Miss Mayme McCoy, Mrs. Bessie Totten, Mrs. Isabel Jordan, and Mr. Franklin Davis. The officers of the class of 1958 are: Larry Morris, Treasurer; Sandra Ledford, Secretary; Bob Lockett, Vice- President; Curtis Hollins, President. 30
