In picturing the activities of our school we wish to recognize one who has taken active part in all phases of school life at P. H. S. Our school calendar might ' well be her calendar, for seldom does she miss a school event. She leads a busy life as teacher of Mathematics, sponsor of the Student Council, and the Beta Club. Her duties are endless, but then so are her energies and interest in our school. With this already busy life she has not neglected her professional organization. She has served in many capacities. Last summer she attended the National Education Association Convention at Denver, Colorado. In April she was installed as president of the Pul aski County Education Association. It is also important to add that she contributes much to her com- munity as a loyal and faithful church worker. The Staff proudly dedicates the 1957 ORIOLE to Miss Emma Gcllimore in recognition of her unselfish devotion to Pulaski High School. 3

• • • School is many things to each of us. If we had had the time to ask the students at Pulaski High, we would no doubt have gotten a different answer from each. Rather than do that we have attempted in the ' 57 Oriole to show you many different phases of School life at Pulaski High. We realize that we have omitted many events because no book could include all of the things a thousand students have done in nine months. We do sincerely hope that this 1957 Oriole will be a happy reminder of this school year.
