Pulaski met the advent ot sports activi- ties with a Victory Flag. lt waved many a time during the year. The Milwaukee Braves also had a victory flag, the Pennant. Cars featured the forward look, and some of them were almost too forward. The entire country went wild over lof all thingsl the Hoola-Hoop. This was known as the Season of the Slipped Disk. Fashions went to extremes with leotights, which made the girls look as if they went wading in a vat of paint, bulky sweaters in winter, and flowers in spring.
