The millions ol bricks, the tons ot structural steel, the vast expanse ot corridors and class- rooms-these alone do not make Pulaski High School. Without the living spirit ot the students, the teachers, the parents, and all others of the stall who daily strive to make the good still better it would become no more than a huge sepulchre without meaning or purpose. May this spirit ol Pulaski be always fostered by constructive contributions ot service in the classroom, on the athletic field, and in all other school activities which together make not only a better school life, but more important, a better lite tor all. The Spirit of 76 remains in memory as the will and the desire of our people to build a great nation. The 'Spirit of St. Louis , by its historic trans- Atlantic flight, significantly opened the doors of the Air Age. The Spirit of Pulaski High , first kindled in the days ot the humble barracks, made its presence felt, and played a vital role in build- ing the fine reputation of the great institution we today call Our School . Thus Pulaski became an important force in our fine com- munity and great city. School Spirit develops a deep sense of appreciation and loyalty within the individual, which in turn yields to him happiness and rich satisfaction. By your loyalty, service, enthusiasm, and vigor, you perpetuate the School Spirit and reputation that others bequeathed to you. May that same spirit continue with your con- tribution, to the advantage and benefit of Pulaskians in the years to come. Clayton R. Francke Principal
