Administration Clayton R. Francke Principal To our schools is given the task of training the leaders of tomorrow. The democratic traditions and ideals of our society will be secured and enriched through Spiritual, Educational, and Technical guidance and will be the de- cisive factor in the determination of our national destiny. Pulaski High School is a strong in- fluence in its community. It is serving the People, Industry, and the Com- munity by offering a program of educa- tion for all levels of society, enriching the lives of all who have been in con- tact with it. Pulaski has been a leader among schools in Milwaukee. Upon us falls the privilege of keeping high its envi- able reputation and progressing to further achievement and wholesome in- fluence. Oliver F. Wergin Vice-Principal The primary need of a democratic society is an enlightened citizenry, so trained in the arts of constructive and critical thinking that it will preserve and advance the inalienable rights which make it a free people. Since 'the growth of the individual and the welfare of the group are the two basic elements upon which the suc- cess of a democracy depends, the task of the school becomes sharply evident. This cannot be accomplished, however, by the teaching staff alone. It requires the cooperative efforts of parents, teachers and pupils, for it involves the lives and interests of the entire com- munity. Fully aware of this vital situation, the graduates of Pulaski High School respectfully dedicate this annual to their parents, who provided the oppor- tunity and encouragement necessary. We, as administrators and teachers, are likewise grateful to them for their help and cooperation in assisting us to guide growing boys and girls in ac- quiring those attributes of physical and mental health that make for happy, useful living wholesome, well-integrat- ed personalities.
