We tried to act big, to pretend we weren't awed by it all, We didn't fool anyone though, did we? You could tell we were young and new. We hated to walk to the front of a crowded study hall. We wrestled with our lockers and memorized numbers. We were lost in the maze of halls. We were confused. We were FRESHMEN! Light dawned! We began to fit in. Not a game did we miss or a dance. We were SOPHOMORESI We played! This was it .... upper classmen at last. And did we let everyone know it! We were part of a notable school .... football champions for two straight seasons! We went lax on the homework and almost forgot about rules, We were swamped with activities and thrilled by our very own prom, The Merry-Ga Round of Dreams. What fun! We were IUNIORSI We reigned! But I don't feel like a senior some of us said. Then the bombardment began ..., testing programs, serious plans for college or jobs, our Talent Show, Class Play and Senior Banquet. We walked the halls with a feeling of ownership and noticed freshies peeking at us with yearning in their eyes. Then .... our diplomas. Yes! We were SENIORSI t E tr MISS ANDERSON MISS TIMBFRS
