Tiernan, Acting Vice-Principal The people we meet as we go through life are consciously or unconsciously judged by each of us according to their dispositions and personalities. Likewise organizations and institu- tions are judged by their characters. Any visitor who enters our school need not be with us long before he gets the feel or temperament of the school. It might be one reflecting a coercive, un- responsive languid attitude: or perhaps one radiating purposeful, cooperative, dynamic participation and understand- ing. Each of us helps build the tempo of the school - an atmosphere better known as School Spirit. The serious- ness with which you take part in your class activities, extra curricular oppor- tunities, club activity advantages and school service privileges determines the true value of our school. A school which enjoys an enthusiastic, interested, loyal, purposeful faculty and student body is destined to make important contribu- tions to all persons who share in the experience program of that school. All those of us who value our advan- tages at Pulaski High School possess a reverent yearning to support and build the Pulaski School Spirit - a Spirit founded on Earnest Effort, Friendly Co- operative Action, Respect for One An- other, and Service for Mutual Self Improvement. -A. E. Westgaard One of the primary objectives of edu- cation is to prepare young people for a fuller life. Here at Pulaski, we have all the facilities necessary to assist us in attaining these goals. As individuals We must have the drive and ambition to take advantage of all the valuable op- portunities our school affords. Day by day we should strive to build character, acquire knowledge and develop skills. By constantly improving ourselves, we can contribute much toward making this world a better and happier place in which to live. Students of Pulaski, meet that challenge and go ever forward.
