ll-XNUARY CLASS, 1949 James Olson Barbara Rentner Edward Schreiber President Secretary and Treasurer Vice President THE GREEN YEAR This was the year we first introduced ourselves to Pulaski High School. This was the year we couldn't find room 319 or open our locker, the year we thought the black bubblers were for faculty only. This is the year we all wish we could relive. THE SMART SET This was the year we held our heads high as intelligent sophomores: the year we attended all the sports events faithfully: the year we dozed in sixth hour classes, crammed for geometry exams and looked eagerly forward to becoming upper- classmen. IUNIOR DAZE SCRAMBLE This was the year we went to the Iunior Prom and didn't arrive home 'til the wee hours of the morning. The year we dawdled on the way to classes and ate our lunches at the monitor posts. This was the year we studied so hard and never believed we could ever learn any more than we now know. SENIOR CELEBRITIES This was the year we sponsored the Senior Snow Ball Prom: the year our class almost won the inter- class swim meet, and the year in which our class gave Pulaski its first All City Football man. This year we concluded our stay at Pulaski and grad- uated as the Ianuary Class of '49. These were: The Best Years of Our Lives. Miss Hettwer, Mr. Olen, Class Sponsors
