JHNUHHY HHSS lH47 Only four years ago we were shiny-nosed, be- freckled little freshmen clumsily lugging wastepapef to school. We clutched our pitifully small savings as we milled impatiently in the stamp and bond line. Proudly we rode atop the huge salvage trucks that collected tin cans and old clothes. We fervently hoped that we would be able to finish our education in a democracy. The days flew by swiftly, days filled with lusty cheering at our football games and gay laughter as we festooned the gym with prom decorations. Then in our junior year came that gloriously blessed day of peace. We celebrated V. I. Day like loyal Americans. And now it's come! Graduation! Commencement! For us it's the beginning of a new era, not only in universal chronology but in each individual's life. We are thankful for the guidance in good citizenship and the examples of true fellowship which we have received at our beloved Pulaski - - - the education that has prepared us for living in the new Atomic Age.
