I. C. CASTLEMAN Principal Wm Za Me swim: ami, Again the clock has struck, and another year has passed into what Byron calls 'the dream of things that were. Perhaps, it would be Well il all of us should take a moment and view in retrospect the past year, 1941 and 1942. It has been a busy school year indeed. It seemed but yesterday that school opened - that September morning, and now it is gone. In the main, We would like to think that it has been a good year. Perhaps it wouldn't be claiming too much to say that it has been suchg but good is only a comparative term, and next year we hope all may be still better, and so on and on until at last we have risen to a school of real merit in every Wise. Of course, We have made mistakes. More definite application to hard work could have been possible, more climbing upward toward the light should have been experienced, and a higher conception of life and democracy and all else of idealism should have been practised. Perhaps, next year and the next, and the next, we will attain toward these heights until ultimately a more Worthy goal has been reached. Seniors of the class ol 1942, We bid you Goodbye. May you go out into the world with faith and hope and trust - and with it determination to make good in the best sense of the Word. And so to all happiness and success! Yours very sincerely, I. C.
