70 Me mm Awami Gm Sohvaf Dwlmjmm . . Wa. UMQW Every successful enterprise, whatever it is must have active men and women behind it. Battles are won by the men behind the guns, not those hidden away in dug-outs. Governments suc- ceed when statesmen and a loyal citizenry combine and exert their loyal and unqualified support. School enterprises come to real fruition only when an individual, or a combination of individuals give these enterprises undivided energy and thought. Even so it is with school publications,-high school paper, week- lies, and annuals included. For years at the Pulaski High School a certain individual has quietly but no less efficiently carried on the work coincident with the editing and publishing of the Cavalier, and the Cavalier Annual. True, he has had a great deal of valuable assistance from students and other teachers. But when the account is finally totaled up, the major portion of the work is found to have de- volved upon his shoulders. And, the best part of the whole mat- ter is thisg that he has done it willingly, without complaint or quibbling, or fault-finding, beyond an occasional quip of hum- orous sarcasm, Well illustrated by his famous story of the boy and the bull. It is only meet and right that this debt be acknowledged, and that we let this gentleman land he is all of thatl know that we appreciate what he has done, and is doing for the school. Students and teachers of the Pulaski High School give you Mr. Olszyk. I. C. CASTLEMAN
