FROM LEFT TO RIGHT THE 1978 SENIOR HIGH HOMECOMING COURT Laurie Pike Karen Thompson Melo dy Ricks, Tracy Brokate, Racheal Hall Julie Dabbs and Adria Watson lABOVED Greg Smith catches an Eagle from behind as the rest of the Bruin defense is in hot pursuit. On October 13 Tracy Brolcate was crowned the 1978 Senior High Home coming Queen On that evening the Bruins defeated the Des Arc Eagles 21 6 Sophomore tailback Scott Whotehurst carried the ball 32 times for 109 yards. To add to the victory the P A. special teams blocked two punts one of which Brad Munsey car- ried in for a touchdown. This victory kept the Bruins undefeated in Home- coming play. 171
