ig- Qff ' .- A ts... ss., ff, -fe: .IQ 1 FBLA And COE Al Their Besl FBLA has been at Pueblo for 25 years and on March 25, 1981 FBLA had their 25 Silver Anniversity celebration at the Double Tree Inn. Members have been paying 51.00 to join FBLA and are required to have a business class for three years. When Mr. Zimmer was asked what he thought about the 51.00 fee, he stated, that there should be a fee because you pay so little and get so much out of it and also most schools have to pay about 54.00 tojoin. When asked Mr. Zimmer about what he thought about Pueblo's FBLA, he remarked that they are number one in the state and that all the other schools know it, but won't admit it. This yeor's COE was sponsored by Mrs. Munsinger. lt had 40 members and was held first and second period. COE consisted of office work and selling. Office work included using the word pro- cessing machines, TRS-80, calculators, and typewriters. One year of typing was re- quired before getting into this class. On Morch 17 of 1982 there was o ban- quet which was held at the University of Arizona. About 600 people attended, The banquet wos for students and bosses. Grades were based on personal traits, abilities, skill performance, and business techniques. The office supervisors in the work field gove out the grodes. First period's president was Araceli Rodriguez, secretary was Leticia Ross, and Roxanne Lucero was treosurer. Second period's officers were president Edna Maldonado, and vice-president Nora Coronado. 19 FBLA members visited KLPX. 23 FBLA officers leave to fly to Portland, Oregon. SD FBLA officers competing are: Patricia Gillette, Monica Rodriguez, Diane Conez, Terri Martinez, Rachell Camacha, and Tomaso Reyes. 45 FBLA members odmlre the view in Oregon. 57 Sponsor for FBLA ls Mr. Jack Zimmer. 65 FBLA members are: Front row: H.
