Poms Prove Successful There were two veterans among the new comers on Pom squad. Their summer was full of hard work and excitement. Car Washes, bake sales and night practices fill- ed their schedule. The squad was made up of twelve devoted girls including two spirited mascots. They all showed a lot of pride and dedication toward the school while performing popular songs in half time shows. Their responsibility during basketball season was mainly preparing dance routines, which took a lot of time and hard work. Pueblo was proud to have a group of girls so dedicated and full of pride representing them. 15 l, Lori Torrez, and Helen Rodriguez congratulate each other for a fine performance of cheering at the Homecoming game against Cholla. 27 Songleoder Yvonne Ayala joins the spirit at the night pep rally. 37 This year's 1981-82 head and co-head songleaders were Ana Coronado and Stella Rivera who were both seniors at Puebla. 47 PuebIo's pep squad consisted of three young spirited mascots who were Priscella Martinez, Gloria Baron and Vanessa Martinez. 551981-82 Songleaders are, bottom row, mascot, Vanneso Martinez.
