Gets Second Ploce Although there were not enough porticiponts to keep the teom from doing better, Pueblo High's freshmen wrestlers hod dedicotion ond the desire to win. They ended the 1981-82 seoson with o 4-6 record. There were 6 outstonding members. They were Cheno Mortinez, Gustovo Ruiz, Freddy Montes, Ulysses Cor- ono, Roul lslos, ond Mike Montono. Freddy Montes ond Roul lslos hod perfect ottendonce ond o 9- 1 record. This contributed to their leodership, Cooch Slogel remorked thot Sunnyside High School wos the toughest teom to beot. Unfortunotely, Pueblo lost to the Blue Devils. Pueblo High's Junior Vorsity Wrestlers ended their seoson with o 9-1 record. They lost to Sunnyside with o 27-42 score. This put them' in second ploce in their leogue. Sunnyside wos their toughest opponent this yeor. Cooch Muloy stored thot the teom ployed up to their potentiol ond were outstonding. Hord teom work hod enobled the teom to do well.
