Party was held October 29th in .Q A Q Q' A M .. , ' Q Pueblo's cafeteria. lt was sponsored by the class of '84 and Mrs. Gallego who iii 1 Q Wg .. P ' , A donated much time and effort. Not only did the students and teachers donate ii their time but, many local stores also participated. These donations included . P ,:,: Q '- candies, fruit, donuts and much more. Five elementary school students were in- , -, . if 2. vited and some of their parents were invited also. This year's admission was .Q ,Qf Q. . Q 254 with a costume and 504 without costume. Proceeds went to the Q , ii. sophomore class. lt was a non-profit activity and was held more for the com- 'TQ Q 1 ,QQ munity children. . ' J , i ,Q 'Q i 1 X. Plenty of games were played. ' ' - gr if ... lk 1'5- , , 5. , Food And Gills Build Pueblo Spirit Student council's annual Christmas party brought glees of happiness and the knowledge that Santa did exist and care for many underpriviledged children who live in the Pueblo area. The party, sponsored by student council, took everyone's participation to make it a success. lt included campus supervisor, Joe Alanis, as alias Santa Claus. The reason for the party was to help bring the meaning and feeling of Christmas to these children. The party was held in the decorated cafeteria on Dec. 10, 1981 and was attended by two hundred happy and eager children. Another spirit-raising community service was the canned food drive. Usually the canned food drive raises the most spirit in the school, but that was not to be this year. The canned-food drive suffered through a non-committed administra- tion who weren't really sure they wanted Pueblo to participate in the drive. Once the drive had begun, it was cancelled by the school's principal, Mr. Acufto. Pueblo's students decided that it was time they showed their spirit by challenging Mr. Acuna's decision which was over-turned and once again the drive was on.
